Balanced, clear, nurtured in daily life

Once energy flows freely within our bodies,
this energy can stimulate itself internally to
sustain and nurture us in our daily lives,
recycling sensation so we become sensitive and strong,
and our sensations rich and powerful.

Our minds become clearer as well,
and we discover
what it means to be balanced.

Everything becomes relaxation

Once we tap relaxation,
we learn to operate sensations and emotions
with a playful, open attitude, and
everything becomes relaxation.

We know that within every feeling or sensation
there is the pure energy
– that both `negative’ and `positive’ emotions
are flexible manifestations of energy,

Fostering positive interactions…

The qualities of our experience are emerging
from constant relationships with one another
and with space;
an intricate dance is taking place within us,
an animated conversation.

Awareness itself is not separate from these interactions,
but part of the conversation,
emerging from and contributing to its endless unfolding.

Consciousness trained by Kum Nye practice can engage directly
with regimes of thoughts, senses, and emotions,
fostering positive interactions.

Kum Nye can sense ripples of experiences

Our experiences are not unlike the various manifestations of water.
Snow, ice, rain, waves, and streams are all expressions of water.

Similarly, thoughts, sensations and emotional states can all be understood as expressions of a basic, fundamental openness.

Through Kum Nye we can sense the ripples of experiences forming, spreading, and dispersing again, smoothing away into calmness.

Working with the Kum Nye postures,
we can penetrate the nature of experience and enter an open field of awareness.

Obstacles can become our friends…

As tensions are released,
we find that what seemed like obstacles can become our friends.

Our bodily experiences – our sensations, thoughts, and feelings –
cradle us as water cradles the swimmer.
