If mind operates by assigning meanings to what is experienced, and meanings depend on words and language, and language depends on already established meanings, how can mind be freed to go beyond what it already knows?
The truth seems almost precisely the opposite.
Caught up in an enormous array of distinctions and decisions, some made by mind itself ,some passed down by society, by family, and by friends, mind is like a fly caught in a spider web.
No matter how much it struggles, it finds no way out.
How is the web manufactured? What can we see about ‘spider mind’?
