The texture of human experience manifests through the senses.

Whether we are working, studying, taking care of our families, or relaxing our bodies are part of every experience, every interaction we have.

Experiences of comfort, of being sick, of pleasure or pain are all mediated by our senses. The body’s five principal senses constitute our vehicle – our way of being alive.

They connect us to the physical world, allowing us to find out way in space and time; they receive the world outside us on our behalf.
