Sense the stillness of the physical body.

There is no need to ‘hold’ still.

Stillness will come
as longstanding tensions within the body
are loosened up and smoothed out,
and the oscillations of emotions subside.

When our stillness grows more settled,
and calmness and quietness have taken root,

then it is possible to dance.
